The Very Best Turkey Salad Wrap: NO Mayo

 
Looking for a way to use up the left over turkey from your holiday dinner? This recipe is a treat. It also takes less than 5 minutes to make, even less to eat. Not your regular turkey sandwich at all. It is spicy and sweet, tangy and delicious all in one bite.
 
Start with a tortilla. There are numerous varieties. I like wheat tortillas myself. You can even make your own. Next, fill it with a generous scoop of spicy turkey salad and top with sweet and tangy cranberry sauce. I can't get enough of this home made version. 
 
For the turkey salad, mix 3 oz cream cheese with 1 T Pepper Butter Spread/Dip. I love Pepper Butter Spread/Dip. I got the medium, and it is really spicy. You may want to go for the mild. You could also use jalapeno jelly or just chop up a few jalapenos to mix into the cream cheese.  I love this brand and it is made right here in Oklahoma. I bought mine at a craft fair, but you can get it on Amazon for about the same price.  A little goes a long way. (It is not gluten free.)
 
Once you have made the "dip," chop up 1 cup or so of turkey and mix it all together. That is it! So simple and so delicious. A great way to have your turkey and eat it too.
 
The very best turkey salad wrap
1 cup chopped turkey
3 oz cream cheese
1-2 T Pepper Butter or chopped jalepenos
1/3 cup cranberry sauce
Optional: chopped pecans or almonds
 
Mix cream cheese and pepper butter together. Add the turkey. Spoon the mix onto a tortilla and top with cranberry sauce. Roll it up and enjoy.
