Smoothie Knock Off: PB Chocolate Love

With our Blendfresh fresh dried fruits and veggies, we have taken on the king of smoothies in our area.  Made at home, we can regulate the sugar intake and adjust to our liking, plus save a bundle of cash.

Jamba Juice PB Chocolate Love Recipe:
Natural Peanut Butter
Chocolate
Milk
Bananas
Quaker Whole Grans Boost

Make it over and add some greens too!

Daddy used to always try to convince me that chocolate is a vegetable! After all, it grows! Well, I count two servings of fruits and veggies every time I drink this wonderful "dessert" for breakfast.

PB Love Smoothie
(THM friendly; Energy Smoothie)

2 cups milk of choice
2 scoops blendfresh green veggies (affiliate link)
1 large ripe banana (or two small)
2-3 drops of liquid stevia
2 scoops chocolate protein powder of choice
1 tsp of cocoa powder (optional, but I like a little more chocolate)
(Note: if you do not have a protein powder you like or trust, use a raw backyard egg add 1 full T of cocoa powder and a little more stevia to sweeten to taste)
2 T PB powder
1 big cup of crushed ice

  1. Oh, I love the combination of peanut butter, banana, and chocolate! I think the flavors in this would be strong enough to mask the bitter taste of my unflavored pea protein powder.
