Blueberry Muffin Smoothie (THM E)

Do you prefer tops or bottoms? For me, I like the tops best, of course, but since most blueberry muffins are no more than cake, they tend to expand my top and my bottom!

Blueberry Muffin Smoothie


Ingredients: (for single serving)
 (THM friendly Energy Smoothie)
1 cup unsweetended almond milk
1/3 frozen banana
1 cup frozen blueberries
1/4 cup whole oats
2 t lemon zest
4 oz non fat greek yogurt
1cup ice (for extra thick)
1 scoop vanilla protein powder (email me for my favorite)
1 scoop purple Blendfresh powder.
Add all ingredients to blender in order listed. Blend for 2 min.

Bottoms up!

  1. This looks so good. We have banana allergies in our home. Maybe substitute for some extra yogurt?

    1. I have a banana allergy also. I'm thinking maybe apples or canned pears (in their own juice, not syrup) would be good too!
