All About Orange Essential OIl

Feeling sleepy, apathetic, or worn out? Then you need this oil! It is so invigorating and just triggers pure joy. It is the oil of abundance and I love to inhale it while looking at my vision board or meditating. It makes me feel as if anything is possible.

Open the bottle and inhale
Put a drop on the palms of you hand and rub vigorously, hold over nose and inhale
State affirmations while inhaling this beautiful oil of abundance. One of my favorite is: "Abundance flows through me and around me."
Add to a diffuser and enjoy the benefits of clean air and uplifted mood.

Use on skin to soothe and cleanse
Put a drop or two on bottoms of feet, on wrists, or behind ears to uplift and energize
Mix with peppermint and apply to back of the neck to energize

***Remember that not all brands of Essential oils are suitable to use internally. If there are no supplement facts on the bottle, do not ingest. If you are uncomfortable using internally, then don't.

Add a drop to water and enjoy
Use in place of extracts.  A drop will do ya!
Add to chocolate...anything.
Here is one of my favorite ways to use orange essential oils.

Try out this recipe to warm and elevate you! I am wildly excited to share it!

Single Serving Orange Hot Cocoa

1 C Raw Milk
1 T cocoa powder
1 T grass fed beef gelatin (affiliate link)
1 T pure maple syrup
1 egg yolk
1 drop orange essential oil

In a small saucepan, whisk together the cocoa and gelatin. Add 1/4 cup of milk and the egg yolk; stir until you make a thin paste. Then add remaining milk and the maple syrup. Simmer over  medium low heat until you reach your optimum "warmness." (not over 110 degree or you will cook your milk) Add a drop of Orange or Peppermint or Cinnamon and top with whipped cream (optional..but highly recommended).

I asked around my essential oil community to find out how they use this oil. Here are some  ideas they shared:
  • "I use in a diffuser to lift my spirits and energize."
  • "I put a drop near my nose to help when I feel anxious or just open the bottle and breathe!"
  • "I put a drop in my drinking water to curb hunger."
  • "I have found some relief from skin irritation when applied topically."
  • "I add a drop to frosting, smoothies,  yogurt, cookies, or in a sauce for orange chicken."
