15th Day of Christmas Challenge....Acknowledge Your Fears

Why were the shepherds afraid when they saw an angel of the Lord appear? I guess I would be pretty unnerved by such an event as it is not common. 3 months ago, I had an uncommon experience. It was not an angel, just a feeling. A thought mixed with a feeling. I followed that thought, even though it seemed a bit crazy. Sometimes following your heart is hard to do, especially with the world shouting practical advice at you. But life is so much better when you follow the impressions of the spirit. But I admit, often times it causes me to be "sore afraid."

LUKE 2:9

And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.

Today's challenge: Acknowledge your fears so you can bring them into light. This also includes doubts and worries. One idea is to wear a rubber band or bracelet on your wrist. Each time you notice a worry, concern, or fear creep up, move the band to the other wrist. Note how often you worry. Don't try and change it, but admit just as the Shepherds did that you fear. Bring how often it happens to light!
