18th Day of Christmas Challenge...Make Christ Your Guiding Star

I live in the country, so every night, I can see stars, hundreds of them. The thing I love about stars is that they are constant. I can see them at my house. I can see them when I am out of town. I can see them and know that those I love are seeing them as well. There is never any doubt in my mind that we have a Creator who loves us. He paints me sunrises in the morning and sunsets at night. He organizes thunder storms and glorious sunny days. He sends storms to remind me He is there and calm days for relief from the torment. Weather and sunrises come and go. But some things remain constant. One is the stars. It is no surprise to me that one symbol of the Christ Child is a star. Constant and true to His word.

MATTHEW 2:9-10

When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was.
When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy.

Christ is my guiding star. My constant during times of trial and times of good. Today's challenge: Think of 5 ways that Jesus Christ is a constant in your life. Maybe 5 times when life was crazy for you, but His love did not leave.

I will start: wherever I go, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is there. His Church. His constant light in the darkness.  This means everything to me right now as we are looking for a place to move. If there is a Ward and a Stake and a Temple, then my Constant is there.
