12th Day of Christmas Challenge...Do Not Complain

Mary gave birth to the Savior in a stable! What an act of sacrifice, of real, true pure love. How best can we honor the Mother of the Son of God? By showing love as she did. She actually bore love that night in a humble stable. For God is love.

With the modern conveniences we have today and with the hope we have through the Son of God, do we really have a need to complain? No life is not perfect. Sometimes it is just plain hard. But it is made all the harder or easier to bear by our attitude.

LUKE 2:6

And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered.

Mary bore the Son of God in filthy, degrading circumstances. But did it nonetheless. And glory be to God for it. Can we praise god in the very act of our own degrading circumstances?

I love this quote from Elder Jeffrey R. Holland:
“No misfortune is so bad that whining about it won’t make it worse."  Can I get an AMEN?

Today's Challenge: Do not complain. Not about anything. See how beautiful your day is when you live in gratitude instead of complaint.
