The Third Day Of Christmas Challenge...Finding Favour with God

What do we do each day to find favor with God? I like to live my life in such a way that God is always pleased with me. In fact, I often think about how my actions will make my Heavenly Father feel about me. I know that no matter what I do, He will love me. Just like I still love my stubborn, mouthy teenage sons.

LUKE 1:26-30

And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.

There is a scripture that says without charity, we are nothing! So, one way that I find favor with God is by showing charity to others. I had an opportunity to serve some strangers today. It involved an empty gas tank and a long, long walk. Well, it would have been a long walk for them if I had not chosen to help. It was a little act on my part, and changed the whole day for 2 painters across the street.

Today's challenge: Find someone to serve. Do a good deed for someone with no thought or need of reward. Opportunities are everywhere if you just look.

If you wish, please share what you did to help someone in need today.
